Universal Education Foundation

India, one of the largest countries in the world is largely lagging behind in serving equal opportunities for people from every section of society. I am believing in the relevance of empathy and humanity while we live in a condition where the difference between haves and have-nots is wide. Along with various educational support, I utilize my privileges to serve the people who are back in the socio-economical background. I have established a charity trust, Universal Education Foundation (UEF) to help the downtrodden section of society.

This initiative largely gives prominence to the education of children from poor communities in various states of India. We aim to aid children’s education, health, self-esteem, and safety. Knowing that I am serving others is extremely empowering, and it makes me feel happier and more satisfied. Being incorporated as a non-profit company under section 25 of the Companies Act, UEF operates from its registered office at Kaloor, Kochi.

Universal Education Foundation works with the principal goal of undertaking charity services in India at a public level without any discrimination to religion, caste, creed, or gender. With the help of UEF, we wish to initiate a movement that encourages people to join hands in serving humanity. The constant effort of this organization is to raise awareness and provide care for those in need, especially the future generation.

UEF tying up with UNICEF is establishing a charity program for new-born premature children and pregnant women. UNICEF which is the United Nations agency responsible for providing aid to children worldwide has started a program called SNCU (Special New-born Care Units) which aims at preventing infant mortality rate.

WHAT DO I DO FOR CHARITY?
Educational Aid
Our foundation has provided countless educational opportunities for children who are marginalized for a number of causes. Our staff assists students from low-income households who want to improve their educational possibilities. Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds may not be able to buy the same learning resources as others. In this context, Universal Education Foundation provides open-handed assistance to youngsters regardless of their socio-cultural background. Books, bags, writing materials, and uniforms are among the study materials provided by our trust for children. During the massive economic crisis of covid-19, the study aids that we gave were largely computer gadgets such as televisions, tablets, and smartphones.
Scholarships
Children have the right to a free primary education of good quality. Recognizing this principle, world leaders made universal primary education one of the 2015 Millennium Development Goals. This goal appeared to be out of reach for many poor countries in 2004. Many of the children who do attend school receive a substandard education as a result of underqualified and underpaid teachers, overcrowded classrooms, and a lack of basic instructional equipment like as textbooks, blackboards, and pens and paper. The Universal Education Foundation tackles these concerns by offering a number of scholarships to students in need of financial assistance.
Support for Children
Education is essential for a fair society. A good education gives children the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and mindsets they need to be empowered people and responsible citizens. The fundamental goal of the Universal Education Foundation is to empower India by providing excellent education aid and financial assistance to each child. Because of our timely engagement in their needs, our organization has occupied a significant role in the lives of many children. Our organization collaborates with many such charitable trusts and provides a variety of services for the benefit of Indian children, such as educational assistance, scholarships, study materials, provision of learning infrastructure, and so on.
Senior Citizens services
In a humanitarian crisis, the vulnerabilities and unique requirements of many older individuals can provide a major barrier to survival and well-being. Mobility issues and other limitations place the elderly at a higher risk of injury and harm. They are less likely to flee during times of conflict because to travel difficulties and an unwillingness to abandon homes, land, and possessions. Injuries can also have a disproportionate impact on older men and women since they heal more slowly as they age. Failure to offer appropriate, accessible aid and services for the elderly violates the core humanitarian standards of humanity and impartiality. Universal Education Foundation reaches out to them.
