I envision the LK Film Festival as more than an annual celebration of cinema. My goal is to build it into a long-term cultural movement that strengthens independent cinema and creative expression across India.
Over the coming years, I want to take the festival to a pan-Indian level while maintaining the artistic credibility, transparency, and international standards that should define a meaningful film festival.
I see LK Film Festival evolving into a multi-layered platform that gives filmmakers more than just a screening opportunity. Through curated film categories, thematic showcases, and skill-oriented initiatives, I want to create meaningful avenues for filmmakers to learn, connect, and grow.
I especially want to create greater space for short films, documentaries, student cinema, experimental storytelling, and digital formats that capture contemporary narratives and the realities of our society.
At the heart of this vision is accessibility. I want filmmakers from different backgrounds and at different stages of their journey to find opportunities for exposure, mentorship, and meaningful recognition through LK Film Festival.
I also believe a strong filmmaking ecosystem is built through collaboration. That is why I see the festival working closely with creative professionals, institutions, and cultural organisations to bring workshops, panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing forums to the platform.
